Connect VLE App Privacy Policy

    • School Apps Ltd do not record or collect any data from the Connect VLE app.

      The app is used solely to access data stored on the Connect platform which is hosted and managed from within your child's school, and is transferred securely over SSL when you request it via the App.

      Your consent to your child's data being used on electronic systems such as a student record system, and other electronic platforms such as this one is with the school itself, not with School Apps Ltd, as we are not the data controllers as defined in the Data Protection Act 1998. Each school in the UK has their own privacy policy relating to the Act, which you can usually find on their website, or by request.

      You can opt out of notifications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in emails, by changing your subscription preferences in the profile area by clicking on the icon in the header on the app and desktop version of Connect, or by contacting your child's school.
